Front Page: Mrs. Whitted Dies at Co. Hospital
Mrs. Neva Mae Whitted, age 72, passed away at the Putnam County hospital early Wednesday morning. She had been a patient in the hospital for the past four weeks.
Mrs. Whitted was the widow of Finis Whitted, who was a well known barber in this city (Greencastle) for many years. Mr. Whitted passed away in 1951. Since his death Mrs. Whitted had made her home with her sisters, Mrs. Pearl Porter and Mrs. Ruth Porter in Terre Haute.
Survivors are: two daughters, Mrs. J. Earl Allen, Greencastle R.3 and Mrs. Rex Smith, Arcadia, Calif.; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
